Suppliers of picture mounts and accessories
We are able to accept orders for custom mounts, just supply us with the required information in the yellow boxes for both the outer and inner (window) sizes you would like us to cut for you. Please ensure you have carefully measured your sizes and input them carefully as we cannot accept returns for custom made mounts unless they are faulty. Please ensure your window measurments are less than your outer size when inpuitting.
When ordering a custom mount for a frame you will need to measure the inside size of the frame to determine the mount outer size (red arrows). This is also the same as the glass / backing board size. The aperture size (yellow arrows) is the visible area that your image will show through. Please see the following picture which shows where on the back of a typical frame you need to measure.
When deciding on the size of the mount border (frame front view) remember that the total size of this is both sides added up - so you will need to give accurate sizes for the inside aperture (hole) cutout and include both borders in your calculations. Also remember that part of the mount will be hidden underneath the frame so will not be visible.
When selecting the aperture (inside mount hole size) size you may need to allow a few extra mm in order to attach your image / picture to the mount. (if you select the option 'to fit' we can d this for you - normally 4-5mm is added).
If you are unsure please contact us first for advice.
We can supply these in a selection of colours using 1400 micron (1.4mm) white core mountboard (acid free Ph Neutral)
For larger sizes above 510mm please use our Large custom creator.
